On September 12, former Black Voices for Trump director Harrison Floyd alleged that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) called him the n-word in private.
Floyd was responding to Greene’s takedown of far-right activist Laura Loomer, who posted anti-Indian comments about Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. Despite her own history of inflammatory rhetoric, Greene called Loomer’s comments “extremely racist” and said they do not represent MAGA Republicans or President Trump.
“[Marjorie Taylor Greene] has no room to call anyone a racist, or talk about what the MAGA community stands for when she refers me as a Ni**er in private,” Floyd wrote on X. “She has never publicly supported me, and tried to save her own skin. Our country many serious issues, yet anytime [MTG] is in the spotlight it’s always an issue of race / racism. We cant trust racist RINOS to do the right thing. We can do better.”

He then criticized her for not advocating for him while he was a co-defendant in the Donald Trump Georgia election fraud case.
“Yet she has not said or done anything about my constitutional & civil rights being denied, being the only co-defendant thrown into Fulton County Jail, or Fani Willis trying to falsely revoke my bond IN GEORGIA! Ask her why and what you told the Campaign in “private” Do you want to tell them, [MTG], or should I help? It starts with …… ‘ Dont say anything because he is Black and ………’”
He continued, “Given the things you’ve said about me in “private”, you have no room to call [Laura Loomer] or anyone else racist. If you want to talk about Racist Republicans, instead of improving election integrity in GA, we can do that. Let’s start with you”
Floyd asked for her to apologize. “You might be able to hide from the people of GA14 in your DC office, but I live here [MTG] Retract and apologize for your own racist / insensitive comments now or I will come to the Hill for it in person. Let me know if I need to get another member to escort me to the House Floor or cloak room.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene has spent her career disparaging marginalized communities. She has rubbed shoulders with white supremacists, pushed numerous anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, has repeatedly smeared trans folks, equated LGBTQ+ people to pedophiles, and aimed to cut funding for HIV care, among many other hateful acts.
Floyd is a Republican advocate who has worked to increase the share of Black voters who support Trump. He helped with Trump’s campaign in the 2020 presidential election and led the advocacy organization Black Voices for Trump, which spearheaded much of the efforts. He was a named defendant in the Trump election fraud case, and was among over a dozen other individuals who were charged with violating Georgia’s RICO act against racketeering.
