Lady Gaga confirms her seventh studio album is coming—and very soon!

2024 may be one of Lady Gaga’s biggest years yet, but her next solo album won’t be coming out until the top of next year.

In 2024, Lady Gaga released the Chromatica Ball tour film, performed at the Paris Olympics, is starring in Joker: Folie à Deux, collaborated with Bruno Mars for an instant classic, and is releasing Harlequin, a companion album to the aforementioned new Joker movie.

Gaga was in London recently talking about her new movie during a red-carpet event when she revealed when her next solo album, the title of which still hasn’t been revealed, will be coming out.

“I’m so just happy to finally announce my album Harlequin, which is coming out September 27, and it’s a companion album for the film, so it has so much of the music that’s in Joker as well as some original pieces that I wrote for the film, and one that’s for the album only, which is called ‘Happy Mistake,'” she said. “And it’s all these really interesting original productions.”

Then, a reporter asked her what it was like having both the Harlequin album and her next solo album coming out so soon. That’s when Gaga spilled the tea.

“Yeah, my studio album is coming out in February, and my first single is coming out really soon, so I’m excited about that too!”

Earlier this month, Gaga teased that the first single from the upcoming LG7 will release sometime in October, presumably after Joker comes out on October 4.

The singer and actor also shared some snippets of LG7 songs with fans in Paris following her Olympics performance.

“I’m so deeply touched by my French fans this week outside the hotel – I’m gonna come and say goodbye tonight [black heart emoji] with a few seconds of #LG7,” she wrote on her Instagram story this past July along with a snippet of her playing a short clip.

Now we know just how long we’ll have to wait for LG7!
