“When we were done with the movie with the movie, I just wasn’t done with her. So, because I’m not done with her, I made Harlequin.”

In an additional interview with AP Entertainment, Gaga confirmed that Harlequin includes music from the film before dropping a cheeky tidbit about her upcoming LG7 era.

“Yeah, my studio album is coming out in February, and my first single’s coming out really soon, so I’m excited about that too, she exclaimed.

Gaga’s forthcoming albums – Harlequin and LG7 – come over four years after the release of her critically acclaimed record Chromatica.

It spawned three singles: ‘Stupid Love,’ ‘911’, and ‘Rain On Me’ (with Ariana Grande), the latter of which topped the charts in several countries, including the US and UK.

‘Rain On Me’ also won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, becoming Grande’s second and Gaga’s 12th win at the ceremony.
